EPL leaders Chelsea will host Newcastle tomorrow at Stamford Bridge and anything but convincing victory for the Blues here will be big surprise. Newcastle is currently without a manager and they are missing 15 players for this match, including two regular goalkeepers. Only 5 out of 14 players that played first match against Chelsea this season will be available for this match.

Chelsea's form in last two matches was awful as they pulled only one point, allowing the defending champions Manchester City to be tied with them on the top of EPL table. Mourinho was furious after the Chelsea's last match which they lost to Tottenham 5 - 3.

Newcastle is the team that caused first season defeat for Chelsea on 6 December but their defense in last 3 matches looked very poor. They conceded at least two goals in last four matches and their injury list for this match is unbelievably lengthy. Kruul, Coloccini, Janmaat, Colback, Sissoko, De Jong, Steven and Ryan Taylor, Ameobi, Good, Elliot, Obertan and Aarond won't be available for this match due to injuries, while Cisse and Tiote are on international duties.

Roberto Martinez's squad finally managed to end their negative record of 4 loses in a row with a late equalizer by Romelu Lukaku against West Ham last weekend. The Toffees dropped to 13th position on EPL table after series of poor results and 4 consecutive defeats against Southampton, Stoke, Newcastle and Hull. Martinez also urged for his team to take responsibility and give their best tomorrow at Goodison Park, saying that it doesn't matter what kind of opposition you're playing.

Manchester City have won 11 of their last 12 matches in all competitions, slipping only against Burnley ( 2 - 2 ) at the Etihad on 28 December. After their great series of results they annulled the gap to Chelsea and now they are tied at the top of EPL table.

Everton will be without Sylvain Distin (groin) but welcomes back Leighton Baines and Antolin Alcaraz. The Citizens won't be able to count on their attacking duo Sergio Aguero / Edin Dzeko for at least 2 more weeks.

Sunderland v Liverpool

Brendan Rodgers called for his squad to cut out the mistakes ahead of their Saturday match against Sunderland at the Stadium of Light.

The Reds advanced to the fourth round of FA Cup on Monday with a 2 - 1 victory against AFC Wimbledon, losing only one of their last 12 matches in all competitions. Rodgers hopes for recovery from disappointing first half of the season and for more goals from his strikers.

Liverpool was held to a goalless draw against Sunderland last month at the Anfield but Rodgers thinks that there will be a lot goals and Gus Poyet's side not to be focused only on defense like in last match.

Legendary captain Steven Gerrard who announced his departure from Liverpool in May has scored 4 goals in last 2 matches and will be hoping to continue his rich form but it is questionable will he even be in the starting roster.

Sunderland have scored a higher proportion of their goals in the final 15 minutes when it comes to their EPL matches than any other side (33%). The Black Cats have won only one of their last 10 meetings against Liverpool.
